My younger brother was born with a severe disability. My parents are his main caretakers and the thought of what will happen to him when they’re gone has always scared me.
I confided this in my boyfriend recently and without skipping a beat, he said “we’ll take him.”
If I find a guy like that… I know that he is the one…

Today I was visiting my grandmother in the nursing home when I saw an elderly couple walking hand in hand. I called a nurse to ask about them thinking they were just two very confused people. The nurse told me that the woman does have severe demensia but that the man is her husband. He admitted himself so they would not be separated.
